The present invention relates to a shift lock release button, and more specifically, to a shift lock release button having a simplified structure to be simply inserted to be coupled, thereby minimizing the number of components in comparison with a conventional one and comprising a console upper cover and a button body. The console upper cover is positioned on an upper part of a transmission gear shift (TGS) and has a button housing formed on a part thereof. The button body is inserted into the button housing in a rotation method, is able to be elevated up and down, and comprises a push rod formed on one side and a guide rod extended from a lower side. The push rod is extended downward from an eccentric position of the button housing in a transverse direction while having a curved shape to push a release lever and passes through an opening part formed on the button housing. The guide rod restricts a spring elastically included in the interior of the button housing and guides upward and downward movement. Compared to a conventional shift lock release button, the present invention can minimize the number of components to reduce prime costs and weight thereof. |
