Method of and device for demolishing reinforced concrete walls at high altitudes characterised in that after the grips (2) equipped with manoeuvrable wheels (3) are pulled in on the chimney top (1), they are assembled on the chimney top (1) at a proper distance between each other, and next, carrying ropes (4) with first two external beams (6) and two internal beams (14) attached thereto are passed through manoeuvrable wheels, and during transport, to external beams (6) a trolley (5) is attached vertically, and all those elements are pulled in on the chimney top (1), where the trolley (5) after being placed horizontally on the chimney top (1) is, in a proper place, stiffly connected to internal beams (14), and then, on the chimney top (1), four connections (15) are pulled in, and, with the use of such connectors, upper parts of external beams (6) and internal beams (14) are connected, and next, the same operations are repeated with another two external beams (6), the trolley (5) and internal beams (14), and afterwards working platforms (9) and a suspension beam (7) with two rope pulleys (8) assembled thereon are pulled in on the chimney top (1), and working platforms (9) are fixed to the external beams (6) and internal beams (14); then the grips (2) are disassembled, and after that operation, onto the chimney top (1) a breaker (11) is pulled in to which a rope of the lifting mechanism (10) is connected, and then, the device is started-up, after which the breaker (11) is lowered on the edge of the chimney (1), and activating it, the wall of the chimney (1) is demolished by moving the device on the screw-like track along the chimney wall (1) by means of the trolley (5) and the drive wheel (12) until the chimney (1) is completely demolished.<IMAGE>
