The first cover part (1) is not braced and its length (L1) is less than half the length (L3) of the covered wagon space and can be moved over this total length. The second cover part is braceable and in its length (L2) corresponds to more than half the length of the covered wagon space and with a major part of its length can be moved over the fixed face wall (5, 6). The braceable cover part (2) comprises outwardly and upwardly displaceable cover segments together with running rails and rollers (10) on both sides of the wagon. USE/ADVANTAGE - A railway truck cover structure which permits loading and unloading in the middle of the vehicle and the handling of piece goods of half the wagon length.
