<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high treatment efficiency without the exfoliation and dislodgment of the microorganisms propagated and acclimatized on contact materials having special construction by inserting a structural body formed by spirally molding said contact materials into an aeration tank and supplying a mixture composed of circulating water and air under a high pressure into the aeration tank. CONSTITUTION:The contact material A consists of plural pieces of non-combustible bundled yarn 3 and non-combustible filaments 4 arrayed to intersect with each other in the diagonal direction around a core wire 1 and is constituted by drawing the filaments 4 from between the winding parts of the yarn 3 and forming independent radial loops 2 in the non-bundled state outward in the radial direction of the core wire 1. The structural body formed by spirally molding such contact materials A is inserted into the aeration tank for aerating and mixing the pretreated waste water and microorganisms while maintaining the contact therebetween, then the mixture composed of the circulating water and air is supplied under the high pressure into the aeration tank. As a result, the high treating efficiency is obtd. without the exfoliation and dislodgment of the microorganisms propagated and acclimatized on the contact materials.</p> |
