The network simulating circuit and method for a line exchanging network terminal includes first and second RS-366A interface ports for interfacing a call setup message output from first and second terminals, first and second V35 interface ports for interfacing the data output from the first and second terminals, a CPU for controlling the call connection between the first and second terminals, and controlling the data transmission and reception between the first and second terminals, a RAM for storing data, a ROM for storing a control program, a memory means for inputting or outputting data, and a timer for controlling the time period of a V35 ring indicator, thereby facilitating line exchange network service.
