An ultra-low compression three-piece golf ball (10) is disclosed herein. The core (12) preferably has a PGA compression less than 30. The mantle layer (14) and cover (16) have approximately the same thickness. The cover (16) comprises a thermoplastic polyurethane material and has a specific gravity greater than the core (12) and mantle layer (14). The golf ball (10) has a PGA compression less than 75 and a COR of at least 0.780. |
