PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the position confirmation of the mobile telephone set, to call any specified mobile portable telephone set from a general subscriber telephone set just like a radio pager only by incorporating a radio pager receiver in the mobile portable telephone set and to enable speaking with the called mobile telephone set by automatically connecting a line. CONSTITUTION:A telephone number transmitted from the general subscriver telephone set is transferred through a public telephone network 1 to a radio pager controller 6 and at this radio pager controller, the telephone number is converted to a radio pager number and transmitted form a radio pager calling device 5 by using radio waves. When this radio pager signal is received by a mobile portable telephone set 3 at a radio pager receiver, a collation number is automatically returned from the mobile portable telephone set, this is transferred to the radio pager controller after being received at a base station unit 4, and collated with the telephone number. When these numbers are coincident with each other, speaking is enabled between a general subscriber telephone set 2 on the radio pager calling side and the mobile portable telephone set. |
