The machine has a current conductor bundle assembled from three flat rectangular conductors (1) laid parallel and centrally sepd. by insulating layers (2). Outside the soft magnetic body the conductors are short-circuited together and at least two of them are arranged at different distances from the surface of the opening of the groove. Several conductors may be fitted together to a grooved bar (3) or welded together in prefabricated units, e.g. with U-shaped connecting conductors and bars having tapered ends. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for electrically powered aircraft and submersible pumps. Lightweight machine operating more efficiently with better use of space in heads. More accessible for measuring and improving. Easily mfd. and at favourable cost.
