OLEFIN POLYMERIZATION CATALYST AND USE

A process as disclosed for preparing a titanium-containing olefin polymerization catalyst that has improved utility for the copolymerization of ethylene and a higher alpha-olefin. The method involves the addition of a specified amount of water during the initial steps of the catalyst preparation. The resulting catalyst and its use in copolymerization are also described.
