The shaft (30) fills almost completely the cavity (7) in a cylindrical casing (1) and rotates in axially staggered single ball bearings (8,9) sepd. by about five times the shaft radius. Another casing (4) contg. the electric motor (40) is detachable from an interface (3) at the proximal end. The rotor (32) of the motor is supported by a portion (30') of the shaft which can be detached from another interface (31) by the unscrewing of its threaded extremity (34). ADVANTAGE - Length and constructional cost are minimised, resistance to bending of the spindle shaft is maximised, and all components are easily replaceable.
