The method has an advantage of compatability and convenience by including a dual and single monitor solution of a color signal output device in a high resolution graphic board. The device includes a high resolution processor (51) which executes a graphics command and image processing, a 4:1 RAMDAC (52), a 1:1 RAMDAC which converts digital signal into analog signal, an I/O register (55) which outputs control signal by a dual mode selection, a 1:1 RAMDAC output switch, a 4:1 RAMDAC output switch, an I/O register decoder (53b) which controls a switch driver, and a various connectors (56a,56b,58).
