The inlet (14) and outlet end (16) are provide don the nozzle body, whose inner surface (20) is defined by a conical bore (22) between the two ends such that the inlet end has an inlet aperture (24), while the outlet end has an outlet aperture (26). A liq. vol. passes through the nozzle (12) to the outlet aperture. A wedge-shaped slot (28) extends from the outlet towards the inlet end such that the shape of the outlet aperture is defined by the interface between the conical bore and the wedge-shaped slot. Pref. the nozzle is fitted in a retention cone such that the latter presses against the nozzle on liq. flow through it. USE/ADVANTAGE - For cleaning surfaces of various components and sheet nickel cutting, with increased efficiency and material protection.
