The self-excited switching power circuit includes an initial activation current source for supplying a varied current according to a variation in input power voltage, a main switching circuit connected between the initial activation current source and an outer terminal, a hysteresis circuit connected in parallel to the main switching circuit, for generating a constant output voltage and limiting an input current, and an output voltage detector connected in parallel to the hysteresiss circuit, thereby reducing a switching loss.
