Priming compsn. (I) consists of inert granules (II) coated with flame-sensitive prim. explosive(s) (III).Pref. (II) are electroconductive. They consists of powder(s) (IV), pref. of alkali(ne earth) nitrate, carbonate, chromate or (per)chlorate, esp. Ba chromate (IVA); a granulating agent (V)m, pref. polynitrophenylene, polyvinyl nitrate, cellulose, ester or esp. polysulphone (VA); and opt. a ancillary (VI), pref. talc, MgO or esp. graphite (VIA).
