The circuit for preventing the abnormal operation caused by the fault of the temp. sensor includes a temp. detector (10) measuring the fixing temp. with a thermistor (THR), a multiplier (20) multiplying the region of the measured voltage with a preset constant, a comparator (30) comparing the multiplied voltage to the reference ones having various steps, a controller (40) controlling a fixing lamp driver (2) and a fixing fan (3) selectively with the compared result and detecting the fault of the thermistor, and a CPU (50) providing the alarm if the fault of the thermistor is detected.
