The connector for mounting the pyrotechnic ignition device, comprises a housing (1) with a void region (3) surrounding at least one contact (2) which creates an electrical connection when a collapsible contact end is received in the void region, at least one conductor being protectively encases with this region. The open end of the void region is sealed with a non-conductive membrane (5) which is broken by the entry of the contact end into this region. The membrane is preferably a thin rubber one.
