A bell-shaped hood (9) is placed over the discharge aperture (6) of the pipe (5). One or more ventilation units (10) are connected to the pipe and/or hood. The hood is axially offset relative to the discharge pipe. The ventilation unit is regulated or is influenced by the pumping medium. The unit is regulated by the electrical and/or mechanical behaviour of the pump drive engine. It consists of an open pipe whose lower aperture (11) is located within the discharge pipe, and its top aperture (12) is located above the max. fluid level (8).
