MOTION VECTOR DETECTING METHOD

The method for motion compensation in a motion image processing system heights the 3-step search speed of block matching algorithm. The method includes a first adding step for multiplying a brightness value of each pixel and firstly adding up its result; a second step for inputting search area data; a third step for setting a search position; a fourth step for multiplying the brightness value of pixel and secondly adding up its result; a fifth step for multiplying the pixel brightness value, thirdly adding up and multiplying twice; a sixth step for subtracting twice the value of the third added value and detecting the minimum value; and a seventh step for looping to the fourth step.
