To enter into and exit from seats in a tight space such as the interior of a typical motor vehicle, it is necessary to perform uncomfortable body manoeuvres often involving uncoordinated turn of upper and lower bodies. The situation becomes worse for people with permanent or temporary physical handicaps. In this invention, a cushion, when placed on a vehicle seat, is made to swivel toward desired directions by a simple coordinated body turn and thereby provide, cheaply, features that are available in seats specifically designed to swivel.
