A brush element in a rotating brush roller comprises a brush part 1 and a frame part 2. The brush part 1 consists of several brush bundles 1a which are secured rigidly to the frame part 2 by mechanical attachment 3b and/or by a securing component 3a in liquid state, which is arranged to assume a solid state after hardening. The frame part 2 is made up of at least one wall part 2a which has attachment surfaces 4 for the brush bundles 1a. On a first side of the wall part 2a, there are securing arrangements 5 so that the brush element can be releasably secured to the body of the brush roller by means of an arrangement consisting of opposing surfaces v. In the frame part 2 there are also through-openings 7 so that binding thread 3b and/or a securing component 3a can be fed in through the wall part 2a in order to achieve a fixed anchoring of the securing ends on the brush bundles 1a at the surfaces 4. To balance a specially produced brush element, the mass of the brush element can be increased/reduced by adding/taking away the mass located on the surface u of the first side of the frame part 2, such that the arrangement with opposing surfaces v can be maintained at essentially constant mutual measurements, such as play, as regards the opposing surfaces in the brush roller and the brush element which are in contact with each other, i.e. the rear surfaces vv, ve and the edge surfaces rv, re. <IMAGE> |
