<p>The device is located in a housing (3), within which pivots one of the arms (1) of an anti-panic bar. <??>On the inner finger (8) of the arm (1) rests a slide (10), the front upper edge of which is in the form of a step. The slide (10) can be displaced vertically, being driven by the finger (8), but it can be blocked by means of a transverse rod which, under the control of an electromagnet (22), by the agency of a set of two links (34) and a two-branch fork (25), comes to rest in the step slightly above its base when the slide (10) is in the low position. The base of the step is inclined slightly so that the rod (37) is always easily retractable as soon as the supply to the electromagnet is cut off, being returned forwards by springs (38). <??>Fastened to the slide (10) is a means (21, 41) modifying the state of microcontacts (40) as soon as the slide (10) leaves its low position. <??>The device is especially suitable for operating under the control of an electronic monitoring system. <IMAGE> </p> |
