In a method for the production of a tubular girder or the like by the internal high-pressure method, a straight tubular body is expanded with the aid of a pressure medium. This tubular body is welded together from tube sections with different wall thicknesses in order to be able to vary the wall thickness in the finished tubular girder within relatively wide limits.
