A stand has a holder arranged on a foot section. Several securing elements are formed around the middle axis of the holder. The elements are pivotable in a plane in between a free level and retaining level. These planes intersect in the said middle axis and are simultaneously actuated upon, in the end positions thereof, by a transfer element connected to a central clamping device. The novelty of the stand resides in the fact that the power transfer element (48) is made in the free level as a power free, in respect to all the securing components (14, 16, 18, 20), whereas every securing component (14, 16, 18, 20) is connected to this transfer element (48) independently.
