PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standard of a position measurement system which facilitates especially, evaluation of AC voltage which is guided by a reception coil.SOLUTION: A standard 20 is formed of a material tape 23 formed of a ferromagnetic material. The material tape 23 is extended along a measurement direction, plural marks 21 are arranged in one row on the material tape 23 along the measurement direction, in which the respective marks 21 are formed of a penetration part or a recess part having a constant depth, the marks 21 comprise a mark contour 50 respectively. At least parts of the marks 21 encode a binary random number sequence. The respective mark contours 50 correspond to inside of a corresponding virtual rectangle 60. The virtual rectangle 60 comprises first, second, third, and fourth rectangular sides (61, 62, 63, 64), and an interval of the third rectangular sides 63 of adjacent two virtual rectangles 60, is integral multiplication of an interval of first division interval.
