METHOD OF VOICE DECODING

The method has 6.5 Kbps (Kilobit/sec) rate of the Multi Pulse Excitation (MPE) system. The method comprises; the steps of: loading the 180 sampled speech input signal (SPCH) and the 2400 bps LPC Vocoder so as to obtain the eight reflection coefficients from the sampled voice signal; performing linear prediction and quantization of the eight reflection coefficients; solving the position of the sampled even number; multiplying the EXC(0) - EXC(44) and the impulse response IR(0) - IR(44); storing SPCH(1) - SPCH(21); seeking the first pulse from the sampled pulse frame; calculating the RMS gain of the multiple pulse; decreasing the loop number by one if NP is not zero.
