In order to obstruct the vision of an undesired intruder within a closed area which is to be protected, the following is proposed: installation for providing screens of mist in at least essentially closed rooms, in particular rooms in buildings, having a distributor which distributes vision-obstructing mist screens in at least one room in an explosive manner, and having a triggering means which causes the distributor to distribute mist screens in an explosive manner by manual or automatic control.
