HIGH SPEED SEARCH CONTROL METHOD & APPARATUS OF OPTICAL DISK

摘要

Direct seek with minimum time is achieved by counting track trnasverse signal of optical head, executing course seek which controls the transverse speed of optical track, and hence accessing the target track. The invented equipment consists of speed-detection part counting high frequency clock signals of track transverse signal which is detected by optical pick-up, track-number-counting part, speed-control part, and speed-control signal generation part responding to the speed control command and speed detection signal.
