This articulation comprises two coaxial cylindrical reinforcing members (16, 17), one central and one around the outside, joined together by a mass of elastic material (20), two annular chambers (28, 30) filled with a damping fluid, and a restriction ring (22) arranged between the facing surfaces of the reinforcing members (16, 18) borne by one of these reinforcing members and, with the other, delimiting a duct (26) connecting the two annular chambers (28, 30). The restricting ring (22) is mounted so it can slide radially in a guide (24) forming an annular groove integral with the reinforcing member (18) bearing the ring (22). <IMAGE>
