Sleeve (1) for storing and transporting at least one recording medium (8) such as a disc, consisting of a single element of substantially parallelepipedal shape, whose access opening is situated on one of the sides of the storage and transport sleeve (1). It is formed of two parallel partitions, the first partition being covered over almost the whole of its inside face with a means (5) of retaining the recorded face of the medium (8) in position by a spring effect, the second partition being furnished with at least one window (3) to facilitate manipulation and thus allow the reversible translation of the said recording medium (8) between a stored position and a position outside the sleeve (1), insertion and extraction allowing automatic cleaning of the disc.
