The circuit includes a low pass filter for extracting the color signal component from the composite video signals; a high pass filter for extracting the luminance signal component from the composite video signals; and a color remaining side-wave-band reduction (CRR) block which gets only the upper-side components of the low pass color signals from the seperated low pass color signals, rejets the color stroke components from them, and then rejects the upper-side wave band of the low pass color signals by subtracting each other with the upper-side wave band component of the low pass color signals contained in the output of the high pass filter.
