PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygroscopic material including jointly excellent hygroscopic property and transparency; and to provide a production method thereof, and a packaging material.SOLUTION: A hygroscopic material 1 has a transparent substrate 11, an upper layer 15 containing a vinyl acetate resin, and a hygroscopic layer 13 containing an absorbent which is an inorganic salt and a resin, adjacently to the upper layer 15 between the substrate 11 and the upper layer 15. A production method thereof and a packaging material are also provided. In the hygroscopic material 1, the resin contained in the hygroscopic layer 13 is a water-soluble resin and a polyvinyl alcohol resin, and the absorbent is calcium chloride, and the upper layer 15 contains vinyl acetate resin particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
