The convergent-divergent nozzle is constructed with beams, forming a box section (1), mounted longitudinally. The sides of the channel (1A and 1B) are joined by a plate (3) and the trailing edges of the two flanks are also joined by a flange (2). The window (2c) in the flange, along with the two flanks and the joining plate, form the exit passage from the box section. The flange also carries a synchronising bar (7), which is H shaped and which carries a central bar (7c), forming a lever, which is connected to the control lever (14), from the mechanism controlling the convergent (11) and divergent (12) flaps, which are fitted so that the leading edge (11a), of the convergent flap is hinged to the leading edge of the flanks and the trailing edge is hinged to the leading edge (12a) of the divergent flap.
