Tooth cleaning tool with thin, elongated shaft

There are longitudinal strips (9, 10) which bend during the cleaning operation. They form a cleaning eyelet (6) on the elongated shaft (2) of the tooth cleaning tool (1). Pref. the cross-sectional surface of the strips and that of the cleaning shaft are approx. of the same size. The strips may have identical spacing when viewed in the peripheral direction. At least one strip may have a cleaning edge. A cleaning edge may be provided also on the shaft front part (4) between the longitudinal strips and the shaft free end (5).
