PURPOSE: To obtain an image forming compsn. applied as an aq. liq. for a photoresist used for forming a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: This aq. image forming compsn. contains 30-80wt.% latex polymer binder having carboxylic acid functional groups giving an acid value of 50-250, 15-50wt.%α,β-ethylenic unsatd. monomer fraction, 0.1-25wt.% free radical generating photoinitiator or photoinitiator system, a base for neutralization enough to stabilize the emulsion of the latex polymer binder and/or 1-40wt.% polyether polyurethane thickener and 0.5-3.0wt.% fluoroaliphatic oxyethylene adduct represented by the formula CF3 -(CF2 )n -Y-Xm -Z [where (n) is 0-20, Y is SO2 -N(1-10C alkyl), X is CH2 -CH2 -O or CH(CH3 )-CH2 -O, (m) is 0-20 and Z is CH2 CH2 -OH or CH(CH3 )-CH2 -OH].
