PURPOSE: To provide a fuzzy logic processing module which can be provided with a comparatively inexpensive fuzzy logic controller by using a non-fuzzy method accelerated by simplification. CONSTITUTION: Processing due to this fuzzy logic module determines a' rule strength value' expressing the degree for the current value of an input signal to satisfy an input membership function 119 and next determines the center of gravity, based on the rule strength value allocated to an output membership function 118. By expressing each output membership function 118 with an 'influence value' of which the level is regulated, so as to reflect the non-linear relation between the rule strength and an influence exerted upon a command output value by that rule strength, the center of gravity is determined. Without using any block product, the center of gravity is accurately approximated by using the influence value weighted by the center of gravity calculated beforehand.
