A double faced knitted fabric, esp. for garments, has different yarn types on the two faces. One face consists of tuck and miss stitches in a first yarn (10) and is connected to the other face, which consists of tuck and miss stitches in a different yarn (12), by a connecting yarn (11) in separate tuck stitches (13).
