Covering arrangement for load platforms which comprises at least one covering 1 for covering over the material to be transported in the interior S of the load platform K, in order at least to stop any loosened articles from the transported material dropping off the load platform, and storage members for storing the covering part 1 when the interior is opened up. The covering part 1 is arranged, by means of controlling members 3 and preferably by auxiliary-powered application members, to be spread out over the load platform K from the storage members 2. In order to protect the transported material against damp, such as rain, water spray or similar, which are driven essentially from above, the moisture W which is driven onto the covering part 1 is arranged to be directed away from above the covering part 1 and outside the said interior S. <IMAGE>
