The invention concerns a muscle-powered drive train with a drive shaft (10) and two drive wheels (11, 29) mounted on the shaft by means of freewheeling or similar attachment devices which freewheels in the same direction, the drive wheels and shaft being set in rotational motion by transmission means (21,22) acting on the drive wheels, and hand- and/or foot-powered or similar means being linked to the transmission means. Continuous application of power to the drive shaft is made possible by virtue of the fact that the transmission means associated with the drive wheels (11, 29) are linked to each other in such a way that the first (21) is moving in one direction while the other (22) is moving in the other direction and vice versa.
