An atomizing component and an electronic cigarette. The atomizing component comprises an e-liquid storage sleeve (21). A ventilation pipe (22) and an e-liquid storage cavity (23) used for storing an e-liquid are provided within the e-liquid storage sleeve (21). An atomizing core (3) flexibly and hermetically connected with the e-liquid storage sleeve (21) is inserted in the e-liquid storage sleeve (21). An e-liquid absorbent element (26) having an extremity abutted against the atomizing core (3) is sleeved on the exterior of the ventilation pipe (22). The e-liquid absorbent element (26) is made of an oil absorbent material. The inner wall of the e-liquid absorbent element (26) is flexibly abutted against the outer wall of the ventilation pipe (22). An e-liquid separating pipe (25) is sleeved on the exterior of the e-liquid absorbent element (26). Multiple e-liquid guide holes (251) used for guiding the e-liquid in the e-liquid storage cavity (23) into the e-liquid absorbent element (26) are provided on the e-liquid separating pipe (25), thus allowing the atomizing core (3) to atomize the e-liquid on the e-liquid absorbent element (26). The atomizing component and the electronic cigarette, in addition to increasing e-liquid storage capacity and preventing the e-liquid from being prone to deterioration in aroma and quality, by means of the e-liquid absorbent element (26) provided, also prevent an electric heating wire from burning when a user is smoking while facing upward. |
