The prefabricated building (1) is made up of two mirror-image halves which contain ready-installed switching equipment. The prefabricated sections can be erected and assembled at the installation site. The switching equipment provided in the building requires only a few central connection units for linking up with connection points outside the building. Once the electrical connections have been made the building becomes completely operational.
