An autonomous electric detonator initiated by a compressive wave, including a sealed housing (1), at least one explosive charge (2, 3) disposed in the housing (1), a delayed pyrotechnic charge (4), an electric fuse head (6) located in the housing (1) for initiating the at least one explosive charge (2, 3), and a trigger (13) located in the housing (1). The trigger (13) is activated when the compressive wave exceeds a preset threshold value. An energy source (11) is disposed in the housing (1) and is electrically coupled to the fuse head (6) through the trigger (13), wherein the energy source (11) activates the fuse head (6) in response to a compressive wave of sufficient force to activate the trigger (13). |
