Processing and control of physical parameters by computer in building control system

The determination, control or regulation of physical parameters in such as a building is carried out by microcomputer coupled to a number of matrix cards (3) incorporated in a bus module (2). Ribbon cables (6) connect the bus modules to the controller (5) and this may be connected to a main data processor (10). The controller has four microcomputers (11). The microcomputers provide respectively measure, control bus modules, control analogue signals for bus modules and receive data from the data processor. The four functions are linked over the ribbon cable or alternatively an optical cable.
