Control unit for video camera

A fibre optic cable (20) connects a video camera (21) to a handgrip unit (17) that has a projecting endoscope (18) with an optical trip (19). Built into the handgrip, a miniature switch panel (12) connects, via a cable (13), to the camera. The camera has interconnecting lines to a video printer (33) and to a personal computer (32). The control switches may be used to control the display of endoscope images on a monitor (34).
