Dimmer for hand-held torch

A electronic dimmer adapter 1 for a torch is mounted as an accessory between the torch housing 5 and the end cap 10, this being a twist-release item. The adapter thus fits between a battery pole and the earth return through the cap. A cable with a knob then screws into the side of the adapter to give remote control over the dimming.
