The plasma torch has two coaxial metal electrodes, placed end-to-end in the direction of the plasma flow. The arc is established between the electrodes. An intermediate block with an internal chamber separates the electrodes and receives a plasma gas. A mounting sleeve supports the electrodes and the body. A cooling system carries a cooling liquid. The first electrode (10) is tubular and has an axial passage (12) with an inlet (121) and outlet (122). The second electrode (20) is also tubular and has a blind axial passage (22). The intermediate block is a collar (31) with external insulation, an isolating ferrule (32) and a conductive sleeve (33). The conductive sleeve has a chamber (300) that receives the plasma gas. The cooling system (50) encloses the electrodes.
