Unbalance unit used to generate vibrations for mounting in e.g. sieves

The unbalance unit incorporates a mounting disc (2) with a conical outer surface which is mounted on a ring (1) with a conical bore. The ring (1) is attached to a unit such as a sieve which is to be vibrated. The mounting disc is forced into the conical bore of the ring by bolts (15,16,17). The out-of-balance weights (9,10) are mounted, via roller bearings (3) in the mounting disc. The bearings are restrained axially by a disc (7). The bolts with which the unit is mounted on the machine, which is to be vibrated, lie outside the cover (13) for the shaft ends.
