PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform wiping of a nozzle face by a cloth wiper.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus has: a head to discharge ink from a nozzle; a cloth wiper of fabric that does wiping against a nozzle face of the head; and a pressing member to press the wiper to the nozzle face. The pressing member has an absorber to absorb the ink from the cloth wiper. |
