The fixture device has an elastic band that can be joined at the ends to form a loop to go around the head of the patient. There can be two cushions(10,11) sliding on the band, one of them with a loop securing a supply hose. The cushions can consist of small rolls of foam material, through the centres of which the band is passed. The band ends can be secured together by knotting, or using hook-clasp fasteners.
