A sheet formed swivel limiter (5) fitted to the upper part of the ring opening (4) encloses the adjuster lever (23) and lies in the base of the swivel path (41) of an extension to the handle (6) so the extension secures the limiter in its particular setting. Noses (50) on the limiter, lying in the direction of the swivel path on the outside, engage recesses (42) in the ring to hold the setting by a notched engagement. The limiter can be installed to give a range of limited movements, and its removably fitted end-stops can be overcome by increased force on the handle. The end-stops thus cover the entire swivel angle range and are arranged at spacing in sequence to afford graduated outflow control. Thus as the valve is increasingly opened, increased handle force is required to overcome the progression of end-stops. The limiter is preferably a one-piece plastics injection moulding.
