PURPOSE: To reinforce the fitting mechanism of the blade, adjusting wedge, and the like of a face milling cutter used for high speed machining. CONSTITUTION: A blade 2 with a cutting edge part 3 is removably fitted into the blade fitting groove 11 of a face milling cutter body 1 using a blade fastening screw 31 and a blade radial clamping adjusting wedge 7. In such a face milling cutter, the intersecting fitting angleαof the blade fastening screw 31 and the fitting face 11a of the blade fitting groove is set to 0-60 deg. so as to reinforce the clamping force of the blade 2.
